Hello! My name is Rutherford, creator of Old South Moon, lover of craft beers and all things historically haunted.

I'm a husband, father, artist, historian, geek and dog lover. I have a empathic sensitivity to the supernatural side of things, so obviously I'm a fiend for historic haunts. My wife and I both share a love of the foods and libations of southern culture; as well as the adventures along the way. I created this Blog as a way to share our adventures, enlighten the masses, and inspire others to create adventures of their own. And the best part is that I never know where its going to take us next. We may be having cocktails in New Orleans, visiting a haunted tree in Louisville, or just hanging out at one of our local haunts.
